SNS JU Gears Up for EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025 in Poznań, Poland

The Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) is proud to announce its participation in the EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025, taking place from 3 and 6 June 2025 in Poznań, Poland.

Recognised as one of Europe’s premier events for communication networks and systems, EuCNC brings together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to showcase cutting-edge advancements and foster strategic dialogue on the future of connectivity. As the sector evolves towards advanced connectivity and future networks and systems, SNS JU’s presence at this flagship event highlights its commitment to driving Europe’s technological leadership in next-generation smart networks and services.

SNS JU Leadership Representation at EUCNC 2025

On Wednesday, 4 June (9:00–9:45, Earth Hall) during the Opening Session, Erzsébet Fitori, Executive Director of SNS JU, will deliver a keynote speech on Europe’s leadership in next-generation connectivity, outlining the Joint Undertaking’s strategic vision for advancing 6G technologies and strengthening European digital sovereignty.

The session will also feature Miguel González-Sancho, Head of Unit “Future Connectivity Systems” and new Governing Board Member representing the European Commission, who will deliver a Welcome Address providing institutional perspective on Europe’s digital infrastructure priorities.

Additionally, attendees will hear a special video message from Thibaut Kleiner, Chair of the SNS JU Governing Board, and General Chair of the Conference, sharing strategic insights on the SNS Joint Undertaking’s achievements and Europe’s challenges and ambitions for the future roadmap.

Launching the SNS Journal 2025

We are also excited to announce that the SNS Journal 2025 will be officially released during EuCNC & 6G Summit 2025.

This year’s edition offers a comprehensive overview of the 79 research, innovation, and trial projects that form the backbone of the SNS JU portfolio. Supported by nearly €500 million in EU funding, these projects are advancing Europe’s leadership in 6G development while accelerating the deployment of 5G infrastructure.

The journal also highlights the strong, collective commitment of policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers to building a resilient, competitive, and sustainable digital future for Europe.
