– From Data to Decarbonization: How Astreo Builds Greener Wireless Networks, While much of the attention on sustainable wireless networks focuses on infrastructure design and energy-aware protocols, we aim to highlight how wireless connectivity can be leveraged to reduce industrial pollution. Astreo delivers practical energy efficiency in industrial environments by combining LoRaWAN and 5G technologies to enable real-time monitoring and optimization of energy consumption across manufacturing processes.
We present a sustainability approach where wireless technologies are not only low-power by design, but actively power-saving in effect. By deploying LoRaWAN and 5G sensors across machinery and production lines, we enable advanced analytics on Cloud and actionable insights that directly reduce CO₂ emissions, energy waste, and operational costs.
