6G-IA and 6G Platform Germany signed MoU |

The 6G Smart Networks and Services Industry Association has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 6G Platform Germany to strengthen the collaboration with national EU initiatives and to jointly address the upcoming challenges of 6G R&D.
The signing took place during a very interesting session “SNS: A European collaborative initiative with a strong vertical impact on a global level” at EuCNC & 6G Summit 2023, organized by the SNS ICE project. Many thanks to Dr Colin Willcock and Professor Hans Schotten for representing the two organizations. The session took off with an opening statement by Pavlos Fournogerakis, Smart Networks and Services Joint Understaking (SNS JU) officer and was chaired by Konstantinos Trichias, SNS ICE coordinator . Two panels were organised: EU initiatives/partnerships on 6G and engaged Vertical associations, with versatile and distinguished expert speakers, the brainstorming panels were moderated by TNO’s Toon Norp and TIM’s Dr. Raffaele de Peppe respectively. Many thanks to all the panellists for expressing their views and their intent for further interaction with the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) projects.
