6G-PATH Launches Training Series with Session on Slice Management
The 6G-PATH project, in collaboration with Fraunhofer FOKUS, is launching its “Tutorials and Third-Party Training” series, consisting of five dedicated sessions running until the end of 2026.
The first session will focus on Slice Management and will take place on:
21 July 2026
15:00–16:00 CET
The session will provide insights into key concepts and practical applications of network slicing, including:
- Types of slicing in 5G Core networks
- Supported slicing types in Open5GCore
- The use of slicing within 6G-PATH to route users to specific gateways
- A live demonstration on the 6G-PATH testbed at Fraunhofer FOKUS
The training will combine a short presentation, a live demo, and an open Q&A session, providing participants with the opportunity to learn more about network slicing technologies and their role in future 5G/6G networks.
