The flagship 2025 event for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in Europe, uniting experts from mobility, technology, and policy to advance key European mobility and sustainability initiatives. The 16th ITS European Congress, to be hosted in Seville, Spain, from 19 to 21 May 2025. The event is set to be Europe’s key platform for intelligent and sustainable mobility in 2025. Organised by ERTICO – ITS Europe and hosted with national and regional Spanish authorities, the Congress will bring together 3,500+ experts, innovators, and decision-makers.

With the theme of ‘Clean, resilient and connected mobility’, the ITS European Congress will demonstrate how digitalisation and sustainability go hand in hand. ITS will be crucial in shaping the mobility services of the future. By advancing the digital, connected, and automated aspects of transport, ITS can help meet the challenges of reducing emissions, strengthening the overall transport system, and aligning with societal needs and expectations.

At its core, the Technical Programme offers over 100 expert-led sessions exploring new ideas and breakthrough solutions. Alongside, the High-Level Programme features senior leaders from the European Commission, ESA, Spanish and Finnish Transport Ministries, and others shaping Europe’s transport future. Attendees can also explore an exhibition of 100+ exhibitors, live demos, and technical visits showcasing Seville’s smart mobility in action. Spanish innovation takes centre stage with a national pavilion led by ICEX and over 20 pioneering companies. The vibrant social programme includes the iconic ITS Dinner at the Casino de la Exposición – an unforgettable night of culture, connection, and celebration.
