Introduction

Standardisation is of key importance in the impact and exploitation plans of European projects. In this context, the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) is one of the most important standards bodies in Europe and worldwide.

Different ETSI groups like the Industry Specification Groups (ISGs) and the Software Development Groups (SDGs) present great opportunities for SNS JU projects to have a significant impact with their research results.

In this webinar, ETSI and SNS JU, supported by the SNS CO-OP project, presented an overview of the ETSI standards making process and the current status of its activities. And explored ISGs and SDGs, the first steps projects may take to contribute and best practices for translating research outcomes into impactful standards contributions.
