Five SNS JU sibling projects unite to amplify the impact of European 6G research
6G-OPTICON, AGENTIC6G, MAGIC6G, PROSPERO and SIXG launch a Call 4 & 5 Stream B-01-01 collaboration initiative for targeted collaboration
Stream B-01-01 Sibling Projects First Collaboration Meeting
The five projects funded under the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) Call 4 & 5, Stream B-01-01, have met online to discuss possible collaboration. At an online meeting on 28 September 2026, hosted by 6G-OPTICON, their coordinators and communication teams launched an informal collaboration initiative to maximise their collective impact across the European 6G ecosystem.
The projects share the same call, similar timelines and overlapping audiences, while each tackles a different part of AI-native 6G: end-to-end orchestration, agentic AI, goal-oriented networking, resource-aware operations and serverless computing. Working together lets them combine these strengths and avoid duplicated effort.

The partners identified concrete opportunities for possible collaboration including:
- Joint communication actions, shared newsletters and co-promoted social media campaign
- Co-organised workshops, webinars and technical sessions
- A coordinated presence at major conferences such as EuCNC & 6G Summit
- Joint white papers and technical publications
- Joint exploitation paths and standardisation strategies
The collaboration will not replace or duplicate existing SNS JU working groups. Instead, it offers a direct, practical channel for the projects to coordinate and support each other. Short, targeted meetings will take place roughly every few months and around key milestones such as conferences and project reviews.
As for the next steps, the partners will set up a shared mailing list and hold a follow-up meeting in the coming months to shape the collaboration’s way of working. Follow all five projects to stay up to date with their joint actions.
