Join us for the webinar ‘‘Complementary microelectronics hardware concepts: Outstanding results of the FirstTo6G and 6G-REFERENCE joint efforts’’!
Following the successful webinar that we organised last January, the FirstTo6G and 6G-REFERENCE SNS consortia are pleased to announce a second edition.
This second webinar will take place on 12 November 2026 from 15:00 to 17:00 CET!
Our microelectronics hardware concepts and the resulting research complement each other, and we share the same SNS-JU stream: ‘B-01-05: Microelectronics-based Solutions for 6G Networks’.
We will present some of the most notable results from both projects, followed by an open discussion about our approaches and the synergies between these two SNS projects, and potentially others.
Notably, you will
– discover how millimeter-wave RF front-ends for next-generation 6G transceivers can be developed in 22nm FDSOI Technology
– learn more about a digitally oriented fractional-N phase-locked loop (PLL) architecture that combines direct sampling of a crystal reference sinewave with high-frequency signal generation up to 20 GHz
– explore how spatial filtering techniques can improve the estimation of signal arrival times and directions in challenging wireless environments
– discover how algorithm-based automation is transforming the design and synthesis of RF and microwave power amplifiers
